My first mug rug, cast on sixteen stitches with cascade yarns Christmas and Forest together as one strand, and knit 25 rows with both yarns together and cast off. Sized it to fit around the base of an espresso cup and still show a bit around the edges.

This is a scarf i made on the loom a while back, At the time, i didn't get all of it in there, but oh well. In the center area where the yarn is a darker blue, i used a different weight of yarn, which allows the scarf to nestle right around your neck and not be too bulky and wide to make your neck uncomfortable and overly hot. Enjoy!
